He is survived by: his wife Florentina R Doherty; his children, Rosie Ellen Doherty, Michael Anthony Doherty, Joseph Stephen Doherty, Robert Alonso and Jose Reiberth Alonso; Mona Doherty. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
