He is survived by: his wife Adela Galvan; his children, Lucinda S. Flores (Jose), Lidia S. Ponce (Pedro), Rodrigo G. Sanchez Jr., Maria S. (Mary), Margarita S. Grendel (Steven) and Sylvia G. Sanchez; his siblings, Maria Sanchez of Mendez and Julian Diaz Sanchez; his grandchildren, Amy A. Lewis, Fabian S. Flores, Claudia S. Ponce, Jessica S. Atkinson, Christina S. Galan, Adrian S. Ponce, Jesse Aaron S. Atkinson, Tyler Steven Grendel and Austin Robert Grendel; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Micah A. Lewis, Allison Amee A. Lewis, Kathryn Amee A. Lewis, Madelyn Amee A. Lewis and Zephaniah Atkinson Grigar.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Las Yescas Cemetery.
