He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Sanchez Cruz and Teresa Espinoza Almazan; his brother Jose Ramon Sanchez Espinoza; and his grandparents, Jose Sanchez Piñeda, Belen Cruz, Pedro Espinoza and Guadalupe Almazan.
He is survived by: his wife Elena Nuñez Sanchez; his children, Luis Francisco Sanchez, Andres Severo Sanchez (Bobbie Faith), Araceli Nuñez, Cynthia Rivera and Kora Rivera; his grandchildren, Scarlett Rose, Sylas, Sebastian, Savannah Grace and Shia Daxx Sanchez; his daughter Carmen Chavarria Sr. (Reynaldo); his grandchildren, Rebecca Ordonez (Jon), Reynaldo Jr., Reyna and Renissa Chavarria; his great grandchildren, Rylinn and Jeremiah Ordonez; his sons, Jose Alfredo Sanchez (Jordan) and Abel Gerardo Sanchez; and his siblings, Guadalupe Sanchez Espinoza, Luz Maurici Sanchez Espinoza, Gerardo Sanchez Espinoza and Ignacio Sanchez Espinoza. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home-San Diego (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (401 S Victoria St, San Diego, TX 78384).
