He was predeceased by : his parents, Hipolito Vidal and Emma Vidal; and his father-in-law Mauro Garza Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Corina Vidal; his sons, Omar "Mikey" Vidal (Daniela) and Christopher Vidal (Valarie); his grandsons, Fabian Raul, Michael Evin, Jaden Daniel, Christopher Homero and Dion Emmanuel Vidal; his siblings, Israel Vidal (Betty) and Leonor Ramirez (Rogelio); his mother-in-law Berta Garza; his nephew Justin M. Vidal (Stephanie); and his siblings-in-law, Frank Garza, Irene Bueno and Emelinda Bueno.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (401 S Victoria St, San Diego, TX 78384).
