He is survived by: his parents, Jim Murphy and Jan Murphy; his wife Kimberly Murphy; his children, Cole Murphy, Simone Bailey and Sunese Cotton; his sisters, Jana Tarkington (Jay Tarkington) and Jill Taylor (Mike Taylor); his nephew Jaby Tarkington; and his niece Stella Taylor. He is also survived by his family, friends.
