Adan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Adan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Ascona Vargas and Olivia Garza Vargas; and his brother Baudelio "Bandit" Vargas. He is survived by: his sons, Jesse Vargas (Priscilla) and Adam Vargas Jr. (Leann); his granddaughter Riley Vargas; his siblings, Lorene Ruiz (Johnny), Eva Escobedo (Anastacio "Scooby"), Alejandro Vargas (Carmen) and Albert Vargas (Blanca); and his sister-in-law Melissa Vargas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666).
