He is survived by: his children, Carolyn D. Smith (Willie Jackson), Linda Perry (George) of Washington, Arthur W. Smith, Jr. and William A. Smith "Peewee"; his siblings, Nelson B. Mack (Nancy), Gladys Lucille Hall and Mamie L Gray; his grandchildren, Ocia and Oscie Townsend; and his sisters, Sixteen and Grand. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
