He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Howard and Lurline Howard. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Howard; his son Cody; his daughter-in-law Michele Howard; his son Clint; his daughter-in-law Jamie Howard; his grandchildren, Alexandra Snow (Andrew), Tyler Howard, Gwyneth Howard and Gladys Howard; his great grandchildren, Haven, Rhodes and Sterling Snow; and his sisters, Linda Howard Owen and Brenda Howard Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in David's name be made to Feed the Need Missions.
