She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Laird and Beulah Laird; her husband Ernest Vincent Simons; and her son John Wayne McSwain. She is survived by: her daughter Sheila McSwain DeLuna; her grandchildren, Catherine Susana Weiss, Robert Joseph McSwain and Vincent DeLuna-Allen; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Sarvis, Jacob Sarvis, Gabriella Sarvis, Jeremy Gonzalez, Noah Woznick, Emily McSwain and David McSwain.
