Roy F. Perkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy F. Perkins of San Marcos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. Perkins and Daisy Belle Posey Perkins; his wife Ann Perkins; his parents-in-law, Edna Earl Russell and Ralph W. Russell; and his brothers-in-law, Wade Butler and Bill Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Perkins; his granddaughter Rhonda Giesen (Jason); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Preslee; his sisters, Ginger Perkins Boyd and Brenda Perkins Butler; and his precious, Pomeranian and Gidget. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Orphans (https://operationorphans.org), a nonprofit organization that has provided children with unique and meaningful outdoor experiences by sponsoring hunting and fishing trips in the Texas Hill Country since 1960.
