It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van Lee Ohnheiser (San Marcos, Texas), born in Oakland, Texas, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Otto and Mary Teltschik (Till); her husband Walter H. Ohnheiser; and her siblings, Alphonse, Leo Teltschik, Lillie Schmalstieg and Edna Michalke.
She is survived by: her children, Curby Ohnheiser, Diane Deringer and Carolyn Scurlock; her grandchildren, Stan Deringer (Shellie), Brent Deringer (Lauren), Ryan Fowler (Daniel) and David Scurlock, Jr. (Cassidie); her great grandchildren, Jack and James Deringer; and her grandchildren, Crew, Cash Deringer, Luke, Grant, Mason Fowler, Tripp and Lane Scurlock.
