He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Kirk and Sophronia Kirk; his wife Kathryn Kirk; his children, Wilbert Kirk Jr. (Bubba) and Kathy Kirk Cook; and his brothers, Clint Kirk, Jr., Wallace Ray Kirk, Roy Kirk and Earl Kirk.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Kirk; his son-in-law L. C. Cook of Houston; his sisters, Rose Brooks and Linda Kindred (Nathaniel); his grandchildren, April Clark (Chris) and Jonathan Kirk Owens (Amber); and his great grandchildren, Jordan Kirk Owens of San Marcos, Cathryn Jade Owens of San Marcos, Chase Kirk Clark of San Marcos, Aubrey Love Clark of San Marcos, Anthony Gilley of San Marcos, Austin Kirk Owens of San Marcos and Jada Kirsten Owens of San Marcos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
