He is survived by: his brother Robert Edward Stapleton of San Marcos, TX; his aunt Bettie Grace Lee Bounds of Tuscaloosa; and his cousins, Mary Ella Segrest Crowell, John Segrest, Lee Bounds, Bill Bounds and Tommy Bounds.
