He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie G. Posey and Louise E. Posey (Meeks). He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Ann; his son Shelton Posey (Jesarah) of Charlotte, TX; and his siblings, Hollis Posey of Fischer, TX and Beverly Posey Morrison (Reece) of New Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
