It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hunt of San Saba, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Hunt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee Hunt and Lula Marie Miles; his siblings, Sunny and Madeline; his grandson Bryan; and his former wife Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Cody Hunt (Maria Hunt) of San Benito, Bonnie Hunt (Franky Jr.), Melvin Hunt of San Saba, Jesse (Jamie Hunt) of San Saba, Pamela (Troy Van Cleave) of Richland Springs, Bobbie Muncy of Gatesville and Soto of Richland Springs; and his grandchildren, Stefan (Kim), Sonni (Justin), Zylie, Atleigh, Rextyn, Korina, Joseph, Isaac, Emily, Jonathon, Rena (John Paul), Ben (DeAnna), Cassie, Kasey, Camden and Kyler. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the China Creek Cemetery (3645 202, San Saba, TX 76877).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the San Saba County Friends of Animals.
