We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 70, John Elbert Brown of San Saba, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Brown and Effie Mae Brown (Duncan); and his brother Bo Brown. He is survived by : his wife Maggie Brown; and his children, Lori Brown (Danny) of San Saba, Michael Escalante (Victoria Case) of Norfolk, Virginia, Tony Escalante (Sylvia) of Houston and Eddy Vinson of West Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center, 3016 Milam Drive, Brownwood, Texas 76801.
