It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Fitzgerald of San Saba, Texas, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe A. Fitzgerald and Marion A. Eikam; and his aunt Fay Lusty (Darrell). He is survived by : his sister Cathy Sawyer (Johnny) of Llano; his nephew Anthony Sawyer; his niece Kerri Laffoon; his great-nieces, Victoria Durant and Courtney Ralph; his close friend Franky Soto (Esmeralda) of Richland Springs; and also Avery Ralph.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the China Creek Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials in Mike's name can be made to the C.A.S.T. For Kids Foundation.
