She was predeceased by : her parents, George Aguilar and Juanita Aguilar; her husband Simon "Paul" Galvan; her son Jose Juan Galvan; and her grandchild Little Angel Galvan.

She is survived by : her daughter Diana Escamilla (Rey Villegas) of Sanderson, Texas.; and her siblings, Miguel "Mike" Aguilar, Perfecta "Tita" Gutierrez, Herminia "Minnie" Etienne, Olivia Mays, Isabelle Aguilar, George Aguilar, Josie Shamion and Guadalupe "Lupe" Johnson.
