It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Shields of Sanger, Texas, born in Celeste, Texas, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley Ann Shields (Cahill); his children, Christopher Darrell Shields, Gary Ray Shields and Cheryl Lynn Shields; his sister Barbara Joyce White (Shields); and his parents, Wayne Franklin and Nona France Shields (Gibbs).

He is survived by : his brother Jerry Ray Shields; and his children, Kenneth Lee, Karen Denine, Donna Kay and Kathy.

He took care of them through the pandemic making sure they always had everything they needed, and he drove 60 miles one way every day to do this.
