We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 94, Opal Blackmon (Santa Fe, Texas), born in Galveston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Otto and Lillian Otto (Preslar); her husband John Blackmon; and her siblings, Sonny Nelson, Frederick E. Otto, Sr., George Earl Otto, Thomas Walter Otto, Jr., Robert Lee Otto, Bonnie Ruth Outlaw, Tommie Jean Shiver and Ruby Leigh Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Morneau (Janis) of Buffalo, Texas and Lynne Sanderson (Ronnie) of Santa Fe; and her grandchildren, Quinton Morneau, John Stubbs and Deanna Bornmann (Keith). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
