With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Gomez of Santa Rosa, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Maria Lumbrera and Eusebio Lumbrera Sr.; her husband Francisco Gomez; her children, Felipe Gomez, Reynaldo Gomez, Juanita Manke and Elida Yanez; her grandchildren, Gary Lynn Gomez, Magda Gomez and Carlo Manke; and her siblings, Agapito Lumbrera, Juan "Lupe" Lumbrera, Albino Lumbrera, Maria Aleman and Jose Lumbrera.

She is survived by : her children, Ricardo Gomez (Catherine), Martin Gomez and Yolanda Hernandez; her children-in-law, Carmen Gomez and Jose Yanez; her grandchildren, Richard Joseph Gomez (Elma), Elizabeth Alvarado (Joe), Sofia Flores (Orlando), Marcia Vigil (David), Melinda Turner (Marcus), Julia Rocha (Rick), Xavier Yanez, Pancho Gomez (Stacey), Martin Gomez Jr., Eliza Skinner (Lauren), Karla Jackson (Deshawn), Lisette Hernandez (Javone), Marco Gomez (Ashley) and Cara Manke (Jonathan); her granddaughter-in-law Melissa Gomez; and her siblings, Eusebio Lumbrera Jr. and Margarita Torres. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
