With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edgar Dodson of Savoy, Texas, born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Lynn and Betty Dodson (Bibby); his parents-in-law, Keith Steward, Betty'Sam'Pellman and Johnny Pellman; his siblings-in-law, Dixie Steward Parker, Debra Steward Jones, Donald, Steward and George Taylor; and his nephew Michael Mayton.

He is survived by : his wife Diana Dodson of Savoy, TX; his son Billy Dodson of Wichita Falls, TX; his grandchildren, Dylan and Haley; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Taylor (Rich Tomasovic) of Spring Branch, TX and Tony Pellman (Sonya) of Denison, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
