He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Culbreth; his daughters, Shawndell Byers and Cammie Grinestaff (Jason); his grandchildren, Kendall Wiersig (Jake), Trevor Byers (Lilliana), Shayena Byers, Andrew Grinestaff and Claire Grinestaff; and his sister Betty Lou Page.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Schertz VFW.
