Doris Lauber Obituary
Doris "Sam" Lauber left this earth for heaven on March 8, 2020. Services will be held on March 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Schertz United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon, her mother Delores and her brother Joel. She is survived by her brother Paul and his wife Diane, as well as her children Angela and her husband Jason Washburn, David Lauber, Paula Lauber-Kee and her husband Ken Kee, and Laura Lauber.
She is also survived by eight (8) grandchildren Michael, Alexandra, Jaycee, Kaylee, Brittoni, Zachary, Justin and Quincy. In addition, survived by three (3) great-grandchildren Liam, Dean and Ayden with two others on the way. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations should be made to San Antonio R.A.C.A.P. through Schertz United Methodist Church.
"Sam" is being cremated, therefore there will not be a graveside service. She will always be remembered lovingly and missed tremendously by those of us left behind. Although her wings were ready, our hearts were no.
