He was predeceased by: his parents, Glyn Malaer and Claudia Malaer (Curry); his wife Lula Keefer Malaer; and his siblings, Bob, Marvin, Chuck, Dalton and Faye.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Watson (Paul), Vilinda Guetzkow (Steve), Jackie Taylor and Mae Sturdy (Roger); and his great grandchildren, Emily June, Hope Amethyst and Annabeth Lula. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
