Harold Thomas DeKunder Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 80, Harold Thomas DeKunder (Schertz, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Julius DeKunder and Bessie Sonley DeKunder; and his sister Barbara Jean DeKunder Olsen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Zemanek; his children, David DeKunder (Odilia) and Sidonie Dickson (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Milena Dickson, Tori Mai (Zac), Nicholas Dickson and Elizabeth Dickson; his great grandchild Lilith Mai; and his brothers, Joe DeKunder (Edna) and Alan DeKunder (Jean). He is also survived by numerous brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tom's memory to one of the following organizations: Marion Education Foundation (https://www.marionisd.net) (please designate for teacher grants), the San Antonio Autism Treatment Center, or South Texas Blood and Tissue Center Foundation.
