He is survived by: his wife Novella; his son Ronald; his granddaughters, Zoie and Peyton Lewis; and his sibling's children, James Gaston (Bertha), George Gaston (Julia), Alvin Gaston (Charlotte), Billy Gaston, Rosanell Williams (Roosevelt), Sarah Sankey (Bobby), Phetrella Gaston (Manning) and Ann Parks (Michael).
