We announce the death of Barbara Jean Schram of Schulenburg, Texas, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 89. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Schram; and her brother Kenneth Hollas. She is survived by: her sons, Donald (Nancy Schram) and Robert (Melissa Schram); her grandchildren, Daniel Schram, Colton Schram, Dustin, Kenna Schram, Clayton, Kaelen Schram, Allison and Christopher Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Hallie, Grady, Sophie and Hayes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (410 N Center St, Weimar, TX 78962). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic School in Weimar, or a charity of your choice.
