He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bertsch; his children, Lisa Wolfe (Steve), Craig Bertsch (Jennifer) and Sandy Kerby (Skyler); his grandchildren, Kelby Kerby (Kimberly), Macie Day (Jerrod), Haley Blackwell (Andrew), Keely Dalton (Robert) and Chelsea Bertsch Audilet (Colton); his great grandchildren, Layton, Cami, Connor, Hunter, Gracie, Karsyn, Caroline, Paislee, Drake, Coy, Luke, Riggs, Tealsyn, Emmie Cade, Landrie, Lennon and Lowen; and his brother Steve Bertsch (Pam).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (1010 Lyons Ave, Schulenburg, TX 78956). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Shriners Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
