He is survived by : his wife Grace Sumbera of St. John; his sons, Darrell Sumbera (Kim) of Bellaire, Don Sumbera (Jolie) of Houston and Dwayne Sumbera (Cindy) of Spring; and his sister Virginia Holub (Wesley) of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

The family requests donations be made to: St. John's Catholic Church or Cemetery, St. John, Texas or a charity of one's choice.
