She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Joe F. Steffek and Elsie Steffek; her husband Robert "Bobby" Mendel; her siblings, Leona Moore (Pat) and James Steffek (Marsha); and her nieces, Heather Faske, Shelley Pernot, Paige Woodring and Lisa Steffek.
