He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burton and Norma Burton; and his siblings, Barbara King and Thomas J. Burton. He is survived by: his wife Connie Boudreaux Burton; his children, Jason Burton (Kate) of Savannah, Georgia and Joel Burton (Rachel) of Argyle, Texas; his grandchildren, Jack, Jenna, Travis, Connor, Caleb, Owen and Elle; and his sister Marcia Adams (Terry).
