With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Mendel of Schulenburg, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Mendel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her daughter Beth Mendel; and her father Bobby Strickland. She is survived by : her husband Alan Mendel; her children, Shelley, Scott Janecka, Trisha, Jerred Kocurek and Shane Mendel; her grandchildren, Ian, Anna and Janecka; her siblings, Rhonda, Ron Srubar, Vicki, Eugene Schrader, Scott and Pam Strickland; and her mother Lucille Strickland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (209 N Upton Ave, Schulenburg, TX 78956). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Methodist Church in Schulenburg.
