She was predeceased by: her husband Austin Smith; her parents, Jean Findlay and Allan Findlay; her brothers, Ramsay Findlay and Allan Findlay; and her sister-in-law Judy Findlay.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Nancy) and Pamela Welch (Eric); her grandson Austin; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Findlay, Dolly Smith and Craig Smith.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanette requested that donations be made to Operation Smile.
