She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward Morris and Vandola Alberta Morris; her husband Frank Gerking Sr.; and her brother Clyde Thacker. She is survived by: her children, Jenny McGrew (Keith), Yvonne Dudley (Ricky) and Frank Gerking Jr. (Shari); and her grandchildren, Jamie Carter (Rita), Casey Carter (Heather), Ricky Dudley (Donna), Kristi Dudley, Frankie Wilson (Jacob), Frank Gerking III, Bryan McGrew (Sheryl), Charlie Friesenhahn (Tara), Kristi Stehling, Marissa Lenhart (Tyler) and Rebecca Malone (Shawn).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home (123 Newlin St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cowboy Fellowship of Port Lavaca (4758 US Hwy 87, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Seadrift Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the Seadrift Fire Department, Cowboy Fellowship of Port Lavaca, or Crown Hospice of Victoria.
