He was predeceased by: his son Guy Andrew; his parents, Jewell Sidney Andrew and Rosie Mae Andrew Fidalgo; his stepfather John Fidalgo; and his siblings, Dorthy, Bertie, Hester and Cleburn.

He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Andrew; his sons, Ray (LaQuinta), Joie (Loretta) and Berry (Sherion); and his nephews, Mike Waters (Diane) and Jackie Andrew (Penny). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
