He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Jones and Mildred Jones; his wife Maurine Jones; his daughter Suzanne Jones; his sister-in-law Carolyn Jones; and his grandson Evan Steward.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Steward (Lloyd) of Lubbock; his granddaughter Alyssa Steward of Austin; and his siblings, Perry Jones (Joanne) of Lubbock and Joyce Wright (Bennie) of Cleburne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel (312 12th St, Seagraves, TX 79359). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the 12th Street Church of Christ (501 12th St, Seagraves, TX 79359). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gaines County Cemetery-Seagraves Tinker (311 Hill Ave, Seagraves, TX 79359).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Seagraves Senior Citizens Center.
