With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Hernandez of Sealy, Texas, born in Wharton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Victor and Cecilia Aleman; her mother Anita Hernandez Aleman; and her brothers, Ricky Hernandez, Roy Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, Ignacio Hernandez and Richard Parker.
She is survived by: her sons, Toby Hernandez (Donna) and John Hernandez; her grandchildren, Jessica Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez (Ariana), Emily Hernandez and Izabell Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Serenity Perez, Jazel Gonzales, Ashton Cheffin, Angelo Cheffin and Oakley Hernandez; her siblings, Victor Hernandez (Adelina), Johnny Paul Hernandez, Steve Quinones (Juana) and Lillie Alvarez (Lorenzo); and her sister-in-law Diana Hernandez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
