She is survived by: her siblings, Diego Garza, Victor Garza, Abraham Garza, Romulo Garza, Carmen Floriano, Mark Garza and Marisa Garza; her husband Joe Solis; her children, Brandon and Charley Solis; her grandchildren, Irma and Colt (Adele Marie Solis); Debbie Juarez (Davila).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Harlingen Public Library in her honor, a place that reflects her lifelong passion for learning and imagination.
