He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Walter "Bud" and Lella Lee Batey (Burns); and his parents-in-law, William Eugene and Myrtle Irene Barth. He is survived by: his wife Grace Arlene Barth Batey; his sons, Andy Hugh Batey, Jr. (Carla), Eugene Lee "Uski" Batey (Kristy), Richard Miller Batey (Kori) and Trant Walter Batey (Alena); his grandchildren, Taylor Collins, Keegan Collins, Caitlyn Hafer (Aaron), Christopher Roach, Grace Batey, Jarrett Batey, Drew Batey, Kaylie Batey, Luke Batey, Ariana Freeman and Mila Batey; and his brother-in-law William "Bobby" Barth (Josephine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins.
