He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Smith (Atkins) and Lawrence Richard Smith; his brother Richard Smith; his brother-in-law Jim Case; and his father-in-law Foy Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith; his children, Kristal Wessels (Doug) and Ricky Smith (Holly); his grandchildren, Callen Wessels (Ariel Soliz), Dylan Wessels (Terryn), Samantha Lambert (Travis), Kaden Wessels and Rylee Smith; his great grandchildren, Blakely Wessels and Holtyn Billy Wessels; his sister Linda Case; his mother-in-law Judy Hall; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Hall, Windell Hall (Tanya) and Kerrie Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends.
