She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Maria Menchaca Sr. and Francisca Dominguez Menchaca; her husband Bernabe B. Gonzalez; her brothers, Jose Menchaca Jr., Guadalupe Menchaca and Santos Menchaca Sr.; her great grandchild Jessica Maria Gonzalez; and her parents-in-law, Pedro Gonzalez and Margarita Gonzalez.

She is survived by : her son Jesus M. Gonzalez "Chuy"; her grandson Jesse V. Gonzalez "Lil Chuy" (Anna); her great grandchildren, Destiny, Jesse Ray and Jayana Gonzalez; her great great grandchildren, Ethan and Ayven Zuniga; her siblings, Carmel Mancilla, Adelaido Menchaca Sr., Juan Menchaca Sr. and Jesus Menchaca; and her niece Elaine Lopez.
