Daniel Thomas Chapa Jr. Obituary
Daniel T. Chapa Jr. passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the age of 65. He was born on November 7, 1956 to Daniel Chapa Sr. and Mary Alice (Lerma) Chapa.
Dannyboy, as he is known by his family, was a loving son, brother, husband, grandfather, and a caring friend. He is survived by his life partner, Bettie Le; two adult sons, Daniel, and Jarrod, their wives, and several beautiful grandchildren.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas; he is further survived by his mother, Mary Alice; sisters, Patricia and Tina, and brother, Rogelio, and also his second family that loved him dearly, as well as many extended family members, friends, and his beloved furry companion, Max.
Danny graduated from Edison High School and enjoyed track and field sports, and as an adult, he became a truck driver like his father. His favorite foods were menudo, enchiladas, Derek's BBQ ribs, and he always enjoyed a Big Red Soda. He loved being a truck driver, talking with people and joking around.
We will miss you Dannyboy, we will keep you in our memories, and in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Goetz Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Holy Rosary will be recited by Deacon Nick Carrillo at 7:00 p.m. All services will conclude in the chapel at evening as the family will fulfill Daniel's wishes of cremation.
