We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, at the age of 86, Esperanza (Hope) E. Leal of Seguin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elisa Espinoza (Gutierrez) and Armando R. Espinoza; her sons, Richard A. Leal and Ray A. Leal; and her brothers, Armando Espinoza and Hector Espinoza.

She is survived by : her husband Richard A. Leal; her children, Sandra Campbell (Mark), Hector Leal (Jen) and Michael Leal (Peggy); her daughters-in-law, Linda Leal and Helena Geisinger; her siblings, Erie Martinez, Nina Nieto (Robert), Joe Espinoza (Elvira), Estella Espinoza and Elizabeth Valdez (Cecil); her grandchildren, Patrick Leal (Sandy), Mathew Leal (Amanda), Lauren Leal Benckenstein (John), Mark Leal, Christian Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Kiana Leal and Remington Leal; and her stepgranddaughter Lauren Javior.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W Krezdorn St, Seguin, TX 78155). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
