He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Lopez and Maria Madge Lopez (Trevino); and his siblings, Mary Herrera, Larry and Leonard Lopez.

He is survived by: his wife Nelda Lopez; his children, Patrick Lopez (Liz) and Bryanna Lopez (Marshal Gleason); his grandsons, Ethan, Mason and Liam Lopez; his siblings, Eddie Lopez (Mary Jane), Grace Gusman, Gilbert Lopez, JoAnn Medina (Robert), Yvonne Gonzalez (Luis), Adam Lopez and Hector Lopez (Anna); his parents-in-law, Lorenzo and Dolores Quintanilla; and his siblings-in-law, Lori Quintanilla (Raymond Zepeda) and Roland Quintanilla (Ken Mohundro). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
