He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Claycomb and Elnora Claycomb; his brother Richard Claycomb; and his children, Brian, Scott and Beverley Claycomb.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Claycomb; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tanya Claycomb, Ryan, Kaitlin McKinnie and Ashlyn Henry; his great grandchildren, Braylon, Beckham and Briar McKinnie; and his grandchildren, Camilla, Cole, Quinn Claycomb and Rory Henry.
