He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Myrtle (Talley) and Hugo Ernst Gus Herbold; his son Roger Herbold; his grandson John Derick Herbold; and his siblings, Hugh Herbold (Barbara), Myrtle Krause (Willie), Mary Schneider (Bennie) and Alvin Herbold.
He is survived by: his children, John Herbold (Leah) and Tami Herbold (William Newberg); his grandchildren, Kristen Jahns (Clint), Jayden Herbold, Anthony Herbold, Jessi Herbold and Chris Herbold; his great grandchildren, Derick, Kendall, Kaison, Caiden, Marley, Charlee, Harlie, Amira and Liam; his brothers, Darvin Herbold (Kay), Hugo Herbold, Jr. (Arlene) and James Herbold (Katy); and his sister-in-law Sylvia Herbold. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
