It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Scopel of Seguin, Texas, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Genevieve Dorothea (Blume) and Frederick Samuel Keil; and her husband Louis S. Scopel. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Scopel Ferguson (Leonard) and Robert Stephen Scopel; her granddaughter Erin Victoria Ferguson; her siblings, Don Keil (Marty), Philip Keil (Vivian), Claudia Bade, Ann Keil, Lucy Nesbit (Mike) and Lauri Pollak (Richard Pollak); and her brothers-in-law, Allen Scopel and Paul Scopel (Eda). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and many friends.
