He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Rainer and Flora Elizabeth Sprayberry Rainer; and his siblings, Calvin Bob Rainer, Robert Rainer, Raymond Rainer, Alphonse "Butch" Rainer and Mary McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Rainer; his children, Raymond C. Rainer (Ashley) and Raven L. Rainer Wright (Erik); his stepdaughters, Casey L. Stemmermann and Carin L. Juarez; his grandchildren, Ashton, Trey Dunn, Whiskey, Weller Wright, Michael and Dominic Juarez; and his brother Richard A. Rainer, Sr. (Netta). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
