It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Guebara in Seguin, Texas, born in Sugar Land, Texas, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Yanez Mendiola and Victor Vasquez Sr.; and her siblings, Larry Vasquez, Alice Vasquez, Robert Vasquez, Raymond Yanez and Frances Trevino.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben S. Guebara Sr.; her children, Joe Capetillo (Tammy), Raymond Capetillo, Mary Ann Capetillo, Brenda Capetillo and Ruben Guebara Jr. (Patricia); and her siblings, Victor Vasquez Jr., Lille Mae Vasquez, Freddy Vasquez, Linda Vasquez, Mary Jane Sotelo, Norma Santos, Freddie Martinez, Marie Copeland, Lucy Yanez and Johnny Yanez. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
